NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Annual General Meeting of the Green Burial Society of Canada with Head Office at 5455 Fraser Street, Vancouver BC V5W 2Z3 will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021

at

4:00 pm ADT / 3:00 pm EDT / 2:00 pm CDT / 1:00 pm MDT / 12:00 pm PDT

COVID-19

Due to ongoing COVID-19 public health recommendations, along with limits on public gatherings and travel restrictions the GBSC 2021 Annual General Meeting will be conducted exclusively in a digital / virtual format. It is our hope to resume an ‘in person’ component to the AGM in 2022.

AGM

The 2021 AGM will be hosted by Richard Rosin, GBSC Director and Funeral Director in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The AGM program will commence with a brief GBSC business meeting followed by an extended information sharing & discussion session.

This event is open to everyone, especially those interested in hearing more about green burial.

Attendees will hear from green burial service providers and subject matter experts from across Canada.

The GBSC Annual General Meeting will be convened via electronic means using the ZOOM video conference system, with a dial-in only option.

The video / tele-conference login will open on June 15 at 3:45 pm ADT / 2:45 pm EDT / 1:45 CDT / 12:45 MDT / 11:45 pm PDT. The AGM will start promptly at 4:00 pm ADT – 12:00 pm PDT

The AGM ZOOM / teleconference logins, agenda and meeting package will be sent to GBSC members in good standing via email and posted on www.greenburialcanada.ca on Monday, May 25, 2021.
