The Natural Burial Association is a volunteer non-profit. We’d like for people in Ontario to have an end-of-life option that heals the earth and reduces death’s carbon footprint. Focusing on Ontario we: support local advocacy groups so they can hit the ground running, build awareness of natural burial through media and webinars, and we are lobbying the Ontario Government to lower the perpetuity fee (40% in Ontario compared to the national average of 13%) so that affordability is not a barrier to natural burial.
