Brazeau County is pleased to offer natural burials within the Lodgepole Cemetery, located 30 km South-West of Drayton Valley, Alberta within the hamlet of Lodgepole.

The natural burials section of the cemetery allows native vegetation to flourish while offering a direct-to-earth and natural burial option. A communal memorial stone commemorates loved ones while minimizing the ecological impact to the area. The region’s mixed forest type boasts a wide variety of coniferous and deciduous trees as well as native flowering shrubs.
